Design of the Metallurgist’s Day poster for PJSC Severstal
PAO Severstal is a mining and metallurgical company with key assets in Russia and enterprises abroad.
Severstal strategy is increasing the company value by creating a sustainable, high-quality business that consistently generates higher profits than the industry on the average. Although Severstal accounts for less than 1% of global steel production, the company remains the global leader in terms of profitability. In particular, in 2015, Severstal set another record by achieving the highest EBITDA margin since it had been listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2006.
The mining and metallurgical company Severstal requested the studio to create a visual concept for celebrating the Metallurgist’s Day. The concept was supposed to decorate the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant and the city. The message of the concept was “Special nature”.
It was decided to make spectacular collages of Severstal workers’ portraits and photographs of their work process.
The result was a colorful, movie poster-like image that graced the plant, as well as billboards throughout the city.
