Design of a booklet for the Freight One freight company
Freight One is the leading private rail freight operator in Russia.
Freight One (PGK) makes 13% of all freight rail transportation in Russia. The company owns 10% of the entire Russian railroad car fleet, which makes it the largest private freight operator in the country. Freight One provides integrated logistics and freight forwarding services, as well as leases railroad cars. There are 14 representative offices of the company on the territory of the country; its services are used by the largest holdings of the country: the ILIM group, Lukoil, Severstal, and Rosneft.
To the order of this company, we did industrial photography, and redesigned printing and advertising materials. This time we had to develop a new and interesting design for the company’s booklet.
We decided to move away from the usual booklet formats and came up with an idea of making a brochure that looked like a railway wheel. The cover picture was based on a real photo, and we tried to make it as accurate as possible. The booklet itself contained information about the main services of the company, contact details, and instructions for using one’s personal account on the Freight One’s website. The booklet was also printed by Line Artworks. The resulting booklet was much easier to store and carry than standard printing materials. It doesn’t crease, does not take up much space, and immediately attracts customer attention.
