Industrial photography for PJSC Polyus
PJSC Polyus is the largest gold producer in Russia and one of world’s top 10 gold mining companies.
Polyus has the fourth largest gold reserves in the world (according to the international classification, proven and prospective reserves are 64.3 million ounces) — the foundation for sustainable production growth. The major enterprises of the company are in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk and Magadan regions, as well as in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and include 5 operating mines, gold placers and several projects under construction and development. The corporate management system of PJSC Polyus is based on the principle of compliance with Russian legislation and the Bank of Russia.
To get materials that would become the basis for the calendar, it was proposed to take photographs at development sites and finished product production facilities.
The photography crew went to the settlement Eruda in Krasnoyarsk Krai.
The photography lasted for two days — day and night; this made it possible to get original and impressive material, reflecting the scale and harsh climatic working conditions.
The images were processed, and the calendar grid was developed and printed.
