Image-building photography at Shcherbinki Lift-Building Plant
Shcherbinki Lift-Building Plant JSC (SLBP) is the flagship of Russian lift-building industry that has produced more than 220 thousand lifts since 1943.
The plant provides lifting equipment for residential, industrial, medical, and special-purpose construction facilities. Now SLBP is at the final stage of upgrading, it will soon get a new modern look. The machine fleet is being upgraded at the plant, and innovative high-precision equipment is in operation. The lifts made by the plant are installed in many iconic buildings, such as the Yelokhov Cathedral and the Kremlin Palace of Congresses.
The studio was invited for image-building photography of the plant. Our photographs are intended to show that SLBP is not just a plant with a long history and production traditions, but a modern and innovative enterprise of the 21st century. We decided to show in the photographs both the serial product line and the premium-class lifts developed by the plant to modern urban styles.
The first day of photography was spent in a high-rise building on Kotelnicheskaya embankment. SLBP lifts are installed here. Buildings of this type suit well the purpose of image-building photography. We took photos of the lift equipment, and of internal parts of the lift. High-tech steel interiors blend harmoniously with the warm shades of specially invited models.
On the second day, we continued our work at the production site in Shcherbinka. Global upgrade of the enterprise and industrial buildings of the plant are underway here. Image-building photography of the plant implies reflecting internal logistics of the production process: from product design, testing and assembly, to acceptance and shipment.
We made portraits of the specialists. The plant is proud to have 34 dynasty workers today. The plant employs the total of more than 1,500 specialists: engineers, servicemen, installers, and designers. The resulting photos will be used on the website and for the company’s image-building materials.
