Image-building photography of the products of SDB Turbina
SDB Turbina JSC is the only Russian company that develops and manufactures small gas turbine engines and power units.
SDB Turbina JSC specializes in the development and production of gas turbine engines and power units for ground-based military equipment. The company is part of the state corporation Rostec. Russian production facilities that make and export high-tech products for military and civilian purposes are part of the corporation. The SDB Turbina plant in Chelyabinsk completes the entire range of works on creating engines and power units — from research and development to serial production and warranty and post-warranty service.
After company re-branding and production upgrade, representatives of SDB Turbina JSC contacted Line Artworks for updating the company’s photo bank. We were also asked to prepare a spectacular photo case with the plant’s products for use in the company’s annual calendar.
Photography was done at the plant of SDB Turbina in Chelyabinsk and took two days. To get conceptual and detailed photographs of manufactured products and their components, we used special optics and filters for macro photography, and elaborated and made staged photographs with the products.
As a result, not only production and employees of the company at work were photographed for the company’s photo bank, but 15 image-building photos of the products were also made. The resulting photos were used by SDB Turbina not only in their corporate calendar, but also on the company’s website.
