EuroChem produces nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers, compound fodder for agricultural needs, industrial acids, and gases. The company includes 12 factories throughout Russia, from the Murmansk region to the Krasnodar Krai, and production offices in Lithuania and Antwerp, Belgium. EuroChem plans to increase the output of agrochemical products, as well as launch the production of potash fertilizers in order to become one of the top five global mineral fertilizer companies within 3 years.

In July 2017, EuroChem contacted Line Artworks for industrial photography of one of their enterprises. The resulting image-building photos were to be included in the company’s updated booklets and used for the corporate website. The Phosphorite plant in Kingisepp, Leningrad Region, was chosen for photography. Phosphorite is the leading producer of mineral fertilizers in the North-West region. The plant makes fodder phosphates for farm animals and phosphate fertilizers.

The Line Artworks team arrived in Kingisepp a week before photography to choose the best locations for work. We decided to photograph not only Phosphorite production facilities but also its employees during work and the most important part of the enterprise, its environmental service.

Photography on the territory of the enterprise took three days. During this time, we also managed to go to the Luga River to photograph the work of Phosphorite ecologists. More photos of EuroChem can be found in our photo project dedicated to the company’s environmental service here.
