A CORPORATE CALENDAR IS NOT BORING

A corporate calendar can be anything: round or square, flat or three-dimensional, classic or high-tech. The main thing for us is that it serves the purpose: builds the image, entertains, and informs.

A CORPORATE CALENDAR BUILDS AND MAINTAINS THE IMAGE

Imagine you have a quarterly calendar in front of you with photographs and illustrations of the company on each page in the historical scenery of the beginning, middle, and end of the 20th century, and of the present. Most likely, the authors tried to tell the viewer that the company has been on the market for many years, that it has a strong foundation of experience and traditions, that this is not a wildcat venture with short plans, but an enterprise with a mission and established corporate values. Or a calendar with photographs of spaceships supplemented with light and graphic illustrations of units and assemblies made in thin strokes. Most likely, it tells about a high-tech company and innovative developments in mechanical engineering. The image-building task of the corporate calendar is to accustom the user to correlate the name, logo, and the corporate colors of the company with illustrations dedicated to a specific topic.

THE CALENDAR ENTERTAINS. WHY NOT

The most striking example of the entertaining function of a calendar is placing a story in it as a comic book, a collage, or a sequence of slides. However, usual illustrated calendars serve the purpose of reviving the aesthetic emotions of the viewer, anyway. After all, what evokes emotions gets remembered. The image of the company gets imprinted and associated with the ideas that authors put into the calendar.

CALENDAR AS A MEANS OF COMMUNICATION

The source of professional pride for the specialists of the studio is that they cannot only translate, through the visual aspect and the composition of a corporate calendar, certain ideas and values of the customer, but also invoke a response from the viewer. If it is in line with the task set by the customer, we strive to provoke the viewer into a dialog using expressive means of photography, illustration and design, to make him a full-fledged subject of communication. Recently we have completed projects for the enterprises in St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, and Cherepovets. The geography of our work is extensive; we photograph, make videos and prepare designs all over the country.
