PHOTOGRAPHY OF VEHICLES

Today, a space rocket or a medical nanobot has become familiar modes of transport. The Studio has extensive experience in preparing photo banks of a variety of vehicles, from bicycles and cars to combat aircraft and spaceships.

PECULIARITIES OF THE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY OF VEHICLES

Photography of automobiles and other types of commercial vehicles has its peculiarities. First, one should remember that vehicles for cargoes are still made mainly of metal, have complex shapes and are coated with paints that have various characteristics. And this means that it is not always possible even for an experienced industrial photographer to calculate glare on the surface, optical distortions and texture blurring. It is necessary to carefully build lighting, choose angles and location for the photo session. However, often, when, for example, it comes to icebreakers or mining dump trucks, one is not in the position to choose the photography location. Then a retoucher gets down to work and finishes the job.

EXAMPLES OF VEHICLES PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Image-building photography. For example, a photograph of dozens of mining trucks lined up shows the scale and equipment of a mining company.
  • Contextual photography of technology. During photography of logistics complexes or gas stations, it is advisable to take a photo of trucks to convey the purpose of the place.
  • Technological photography of vehicles or their parts. It is needed for manuals, catalogs, guides, or collages.
