To tell the story through the visual language of photography — how technology, knowledge, and a touch of nature’s magic turn ordinary fields into fields of wonder.
And we realized: this wouldn’t be a marketing campaign. It would be a true slow documentary.
With character. With dirt under the fingernails. With sunlight in the frame.
Lipetsk region and Krasnodar Krai (Russia), Antwerp (Belgium), Athens (Greece).
– A farmer is not an actor. And definitely not an influencer. His workday runs from dawn to dusk — especially during harvest season.
– His total look is more functional than photogenic.
– The weather shifted moods faster than we could shift our schedule.
– And yes, English somehow didn’t become the lingua franca of Greek fields.
– Where farmers couldn’t be on camera, we carefully introduced local actors — without pretense, with respect for every detail. (Bonus: guess who’s who, and we might consider a discount on your next project.)
– Every look was built and approved — from the color of the galoshes to the vibe of the headwear.
– We shot during the golden hour — because warm light and a little dust in the air create not just an image, but a feeling. Wanted cinema? Voilà.
– We found a common language — somewhere between English, hand gestures, and a shot of Metaxa at the nearest taverna.
Where every frame is not a pose, but a pause.
Where the farmer is not a model, but a hero.
Where the land is more than a background.
And where you can almost smell the harvest — even through the screen.
