Among other uses, the airline utilizes photos for promotional materials at events to introduce people to its activities and Uzbekistan as a tourist destination. In February 2024, Air Samarkand participated in the major international tourism exhibition EMITT ’24 in Istanbul, where studio photos were used.
Most of the photos were taken in the “Eternal City” park in Samarkand. Together with the client, we deliberately chose this location to more accurately depict the symbiosis between the airline and Uzbekistan’s culture. In all the photos, the active crew of Air Samarkand was used; no models were hired for the shoot.
The project was undertaken by Sergei Tatarskikh, the leading photographer at Line Artworks studio. He is listed among the top 25 industrial and corporate photographers in the world.
One month was spent by the studio preparing the project, which included preparation, shooting, and photo editing.
30 retouched photos were provided to the client for the airline's advertising and PR materials, which will be used on a regular basis.
