CLIENT’S TASK
Create impactful images of AGC’s manufacturing facility for use in corporate materials.
Not just routine shots, but a showcase of technology: AGC Glass is not just a factory with old equipment; it’s a modern production facility.
WHAT WE SHOWED
The foundation of the shoot included equipment, warehouse complex, employees, overall exterior views, and the production line: glass with a soft coating, mirrors, and decorative glass.
It was crucial to conduct the shoot in late August to early September to capture overall views of the facility in good weather conditions with the necessary lighting and colors.
We captured not only ground-level but also aerial shots of the facility. The use of a drone allowed us to showcase the scale of the production plant more effectively.
PROJECT PROCESS
August 2023 — initiated discussions with the client regarding the shot-by-shot scenario: what to capture, which shots to prioritize, detailed timing, and the number of final frames for each scene.
September — production photoshoot according to the approved scenario. Project team: photographer and assistant.
On the day of the shoot, an unforeseen event occurred: the production line came to a halt, which slightly adjusted the scenario. This is a normal part of the production process.
Despite this, the project’s quality remained unaffected. We didn’t postpone the shoot; instead, the studio photographer adapted on-site and successfully completed the agreed-upon task for the shots.
SHOOT RESULTS
The client received 126 processed shots for corporate materials.
Out of these, 50 shots were manually retouched by the retoucher, and the rest were processed using presets specifically tailored for the AGC project. The client personally selected the shots for retouching.
WHY AREN’T ALL SHOTS INCLUDED?
There are many final shots — 126 in total, so we can’t showcase all of them on the project page to avoid overwhelming with unnecessary details.
The photographer selected the most impactful shots from each scenario. This selection is sufficient to fully convey the concept and results of the project.
Interesting Fact.
Our initial communication with AGC began in 2020, but after some time, we put the task on hold. The client returned three years later. They saw a new project email from our regular newsletter, and we resumed discussions. Thus, thanks to a single email, we finally executed an impressive project for AGC Glass.
